Reforestation, tracked

growsomething.

Track every tree you plant — from a single seed in your hand to a forest you can point at. Real trees, real coordinates, real carbon.

How it works

Three steps. No gardening degree required.

/ 01

Plant a tree

Pick a region or pledge a species. A local crew plants it within 30 days and sends you the coordinates.

/ 02

Track its life

Every tree gets a profile — species, soil, rainfall, growth stage. Watch it climb from seed to canopy.

/ 03

Grow a forest

Your trees roll into a shared forest, and the carbon they pull from the air is verified yearly.

02

Everything but the sapling

Plant more, guess less.

Native-first planting

Every tree is matched to the soil and climate it evolved in — so it actually survives.

Real coordinates

No vague promises. Each tree has a GPS pin and a photo the day it goes in the ground.

Live carbon

Verified CO₂ per tree per year, recalculated as the canopy closes.

Survival tracked

We follow every tree through its first three summers — the ones that make or break it.

Community forests

Plant together. Schools, teams, and neighborhoods grow shared forests.

Weather-aware

We plant with the rain, not against it, and log conditions for every plot.

04

From seed to canopy

A tree's life, in four stages — and we track all of them.

A seed the size of a fingernail becomes a canopy that shades the whole street. The stages look different, and so does the care. Sapling logs every one of them, for every tree.

0–1 yr

Seed

Germinated in a nursery, matched to its biome.

1–3 yr

Sapling

The fragile years. Watered, mulched, and watched.

3–10 yr

Tree

Roots down, canopy up. Carbon begins in earnest.

10+ yr

Forest

The canopy closes, and the forest starts to self-sustain.

05

A forest is never still

Canopy, wind, and the work that keeps it growing.

Person Planting Tree
Leila Fontes, at the first planting
From the desk of Leila Fontes

I planted my first tree when I was nine, and it outgrew me.

It was a maple, by the driveway. My grandfather held the sapling straight while I shoveled the dirt back in, and he said the thing I still think about every planting day: "You're not planting a tree. You're planting a place."

That maple is taller than the house now. The house has had three coats of paint. The tree just kept going — which is the whole pitch, really. Trees outlast us, outlast our plans, outlast the weather that tries to stop them. When you plant one, you're building something for people you'll never meet.

So here's the invitation: plant one tree. We'll put it in the ground, send you the coordinates, and follow it with you for the rest of your life. That's the whole product.

Questions, answered.

Is my tree actually planted?+
Yes. Within 30 days of a pledge, a local crew plants it and sends you the coordinates and a photo from planting day.
What species do you plant?+
Native-first, always. Each tree is matched to the soil, climate, and biome it evolved in, so it survives.
What happens if my tree dies?+
We replant it free. Survival is rechecked at year one and year three, and every gap is filled on us.
How do you verify the carbon?+
Independently, every year, per plot — species growth rates, on-the-ground diameter checks, and satellite canopy imagery.
Is this a subscription?+
No. One pledge is one tree, plant it once or as often as you like. There's no plan, no tier, and no auto-renew.
Can I visit my tree?+
Yes. The coordinates are public, and you're welcome to go stand next to it — people do, every week.
